All-welded tubular design: zero risk of leakage or cross-contamination
The entire treatment circuit of the FDS is constructed using fully welded tubes, with no mechanical gaskets on sections in contact with effluents. This design eliminates the two main causes of decontamination system failure: gasket leaks and cross-contamination between treated and untreated effluents. It guarantees containment integrity throughout the system’s lifespan without reliance on sealing consumables.
Construction materials tailored to effluent chemistry
The FDS is available with a choice of construction materials selected based on the chemical aggressiveness of the treated effluents. For applications involving high chloride levels or oxidizing agents, high-corrosion-resistance alloys are available. This customization ensures system longevity even in the most demanding chemical environments.
Two heating technologies: Actijoul® (electric) or Actitube® (steam)
The FDS is available in two technological versions depending on the site’s available utilities. The electric version relies on Actijoul® technology, allowing for precise and controlled heating without steam infrastructure. The steam version uses Actitube® (Tube-in-Tube) technology, optimizing heat exchange between the steam and effluents within a concentric tubular exchanger. Both versions integrate energy recovery systems to minimize utility consumption.
