pH neutralization equipment

pH neutralization systems for laboratories, bioprocesses, and industry

In Canada, environmental compliance related to effluent discharge is one of the top priorities for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing facilities. ACTINI Canada, with its cutting-edge expertise and established local presence, designs, manufactures, and installs highly reliable pH neutralization systems for chemical, acidic, or alkaline liquid effluents.

Our industrial equipment ensures controlled and automated pH adjustment, with configurations designed for continuous or batch operation, allowing for seamless adaptation to flow rate variations at your site and compliance with your municipality’s discharge regulations.

Continuous Neutralization Systems (CNS)

Designed for industrial sites with continuous or highly variable wastewater flow rates.

Principle: Effluent flows through the system continuously. Sensors measure the pH in real time, and dosing pumps instantly inject the exact amount of neutralizing agent required.

Treatment Capacity: From 1,000 L/h to 12,000 L/h (or 4 gpm to 52 gpm).

Ideal for: Just-in-time production units, continuous effluent decontamination systems, and high-throughput industrial operations.

Batch Neutralization Systems (BNS)

Prioritize accumulation and ultra-safe sequential treatment.

Principle: Effluents are collected and stored in a neutralization tank. Once the target volume is reached, the neutralization cycle begins: homogeneous mixing, precise pH adjustment, and final discharge only when the target pH is 100% validated.

Treatment Capacity: Daily volume ranging from 1,000 L to 16,000 L per day (or 260 to 4,220 gal/day).

Ideal for: Research laboratories, small biotechnology pilot plants, and all facilities generating intermittent effluent volumes.

certifié

Absolute chemical resistance (PE tanks)

Our treatment tanks are made of high-density polyethylene (PE), ensuring complete chemical inertness against concentrated acids and bases (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda).

pompe

High-performance pump skids

Integration of high-flow centrifugal pumps and compact stainless steel skids facilitates mechanical integration on the floor of your technical facilities, even in confined spaces.

Icone température

Integrated thermal management

As an option, our systems incorporate plate heat exchangers. If your process effluents exceed 60 °C (140 °F), the system actively cools them before discharge to comply with municipal regulations on the temperature of discharged water.

Technologie

Enhanced chemical safety

Dedicated, ventilated storage cabinets for chemical drums can be added to ensure a safe working environment for your operators.

Automatisation & traçabilité Actini Group

pH automation & traceability: simplify your environmental audits

To meet environmental audit requirements, the ACTINI pH control system is fully automated:

  • PLC (API) with touchscreen (HMI): Provides real-time visualization of system status, pH curves, and chemical reagent levels.
  • Continuous Data Logging: The system records a complete history of discharge pH values and manages the alarm history. This data can be exported for your compliance reports to be submitted to municipal or state inspectors.
  • Building Automation System (BAS) Integration: Our control cabinets can be connected to your building’s centralized monitoring system for remote control.

From design to maintenance: comprehensive technical support

Because a project doesn’t end with delivery, ACTINI provides you with comprehensive, localized support in Canada

  • Engineering and Co-Design: Analysis of your effluent profiles (flow rate, temperature, acidity) and selection of the optimal model (CNS or BNS).
  • Manufacturing and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test): Rigorous assembly and in-factory leak and automation testing.
  • On-site service (SAT): Our Canadian technicians perform commissioning, calibration of your pH probes, training of your maintenance teams, and connection of your chemical reagent lines.
  • Preventive Maintenance Contracts: Periodic calibration of pH measurement instruments to ensure your ongoing environmental compliance.
