Our on-site services

On-site services: your peace of mind, anywhere in Canada.

A local technical presence for the continuous performance of your facilities.

At Actini, we know that a thermal decontamination or sterilization system is a critical link in your production or research chain. Any downtime or performance drop can impact the safety of your teams and the continuity of your operations.

That is why our specialized engineers and technicians travel across Canada to offer first-class technical support. From commissioning to facility optimization, we are by your side in the field to guarantee the reliability, safety, and compliance of your equipment.

Services sur site - test SAT

Installation, commissioning, and site acceptance tests (SAT)

Integrating new biosafety equipment requires surgical precision. Following the initial Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), our teams ensure that your system is installed and accepted at your site according to the highest industry standards.

  • Connection and installation supervision: Validation of physical layouts, utility connections (steam, chilled water, electricity), and double-walled transfer piping.
  • Technical startup and calibration: Dry runs, network leak testing, and precise calibration of all measuring instruments (temperature probes, flow meters, pressure transmitters, pH probes).
  • Site Acceptance Tests (SAT): Comprehensive dynamic performance testing conducted directly within your infrastructure using your actual utilities. Rigorous validation of automation sequences, thermal treatment cycles, and safety systems.

Qualification & regulatory validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)

Because the life sciences sector is subject to the strictest regulatory requirements in the world, we use SAT results to initiate and simplify your regulatory validation protocols:

  • Installation Qualification (IQ): Systematic verification and documentation certifying that the equipment is installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, approved plans, and local standards (CSA, pressure piping codes).
  • Operational Qualification (OQ): Documented dynamic tests demonstrating that the system functions perfectly across all intended operating ranges (heating cycles, holding times, cooling, and neutralization phases).
  • Performance Qualification (PQ) support: Assistance in validating the actual biocidal efficacy of the equipment on your specific effluents.
  • Complete validation dossier: Delivery of detailed reports essential for your compliance audits with Health Canada, the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), or the FDA.

Field team training

Biosafety relies as much on technology as it does on the skills of the people operating it. We offer comprehensive, tailor-made training directly at your premises:

  • Operator training: Hands-on training with the automation interface, cycle starting and stopping, and real-time interpretation of alarms and data.
  • Internal maintenance team training: First-level diagnostic methodology and safe lockout/tagout (LOTO) and deconfinement procedures.
  • Safety awareness: Best practices for handling thermal equipment under pressure and safe management of neutralization reagents (acids/bases).

Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and emergency support

Is an alarm blocking your effluent treatment system? Our technical team reacts quickly to minimize the impact on your activities.

  • Intelligent remote support: Through our secure connected systems, our experts can perform a remote pre-diagnostic to instantly identify anomalies (electrical, mechanical, or programming).
  • Rapid on-site intervention: Dispatch of a qualified technician equipped with the necessary diagnostic tools and original spare parts to proceed with a fast and safe repair of your facility.
