EXTREMATE - Industrial decontamination system

The premium continuous solution for the most demanding production and research environments.

The Extremate was designed for sites that make no compromises on component quality, automation reliability, or treatment program flexibility. Sharing the same continuous flow architecture as the ULT-1000 Ultimate, it distinguishes itself with a superior equipment level: components from reputable industrial brands (PBM, Rosemount, E+H), Allen Bradley PLC, optional magnetic drive pumps, and an optimized layout for easier access and maintenance. A high-end, proven solution for organizations with the highest performance and traceability requirements.

  • Treatment capacity: Up to 4,200 gal/day (16,000 l/day)
  • Recommended daily flow: Up to 16 hours per day
  • Effluent type: Aqueous
  • Decontamination level: F0 25 (F0 50 optional)

Why choose the Extremate?

The Extremate is intended for organizations where component selection, automation robustness, and ease of qualification are not options but prerequisites for high-volume treatment. Its optimized layout improves accessibility for maintenance and cleaning operations, even for large-scale infrastructure. Its components from high-end manufacturers, PBM, Rosemount, E+H, facilitate spare parts procurement and technical documentation in regulated environments. The Allen Bradley PLC, a standard in many industrial and biopharmaceutical sites, simplifies integration with existing supervision systems and operator training. An optional cooling and CIP skid completes this comprehensive solution.

Allen Bradley automation for simplified integration

The Extremate is equipped with an Allen Bradley automation package, one of the most widely used platforms in industrial and biopharmaceutical environments. This standardization facilitates integration with the site’s existing SCADA or MES, reduces operator training costs, and simplifies control system maintenance for critical high-flow operations.

Two treatment programs for maximum flexibility

The Extremate offers two thermal treatment programs: 135°C (275°F) for 1 minute in the standard configuration, with an option to extend to 2 minutes for protocols requiring a higher lethality level. This flexibility allows the system to adapt to specific effluent types or biosafety levels without hardware modifications.

Optional magnetic drive pumps

For applications where total hydraulic circuit airtightness is required, such as sensitive effluents or strictly regulated pressurized environments, the Extremate can be equipped with magnetic drive pumps. The absence of a shaft seal eliminates any risk of leakage and reduces preventive maintenance needs on sealing components.

Layout optimized for access and maintenance

Despite its high capacity, the arrangement of the Extremate’s components was designed to facilitate maintenance and inspection. Each sub-assembly is accessible without dismantling the entire skid, reducing downtime and simplifying interventions.

Optional cooling and CIP skid

A dedicated skid for cooling and Clean-in-Place (CIP) is available as an option. This skid centralizes the functions of cooling large volumes of treated effluents and cleaning internal circuits, guaranteeing compliant discharge temperatures and documented cleaning procedures.
