MICRO30 – Laboratory decontamination system

High-capacity thermal laboratory decontamination system.

Designed as an evolution of the MICRO, the Micro30 increases capacity without sacrificing compactness. It treats up to 3,000 litres of aqueous biological effluents per day thanks to its dual decontamination tank option, while maintaining the same philosophy: zero chemicals, immediate installation, total automation, and simplified maintenance. A scalable solution designed for growing laboratories.

  • Treatment capacity: Up to 3,000 L/day (790 gal/day)
  • Effluent type: Aqueous (water-based liquids)
  • Buffer tank capacity: 1,500 L (395 gal) + optional 1,000 L (260 gal) external storage
  • Decontamination level: F0 from 20 to 50
  • Patents: FR1355689 / EP14738747.6 / CA2915774

Why choose the Micro30 as your laboratory decontamination system?

The Micro30 is intended for laboratories that have outgrown standard compact systems but do not wish to switch to heavy infrastructure. Its optional dual decontamination tank doubles the treatment flow within a controlled footprint, while its rail-mounted architecture facilitates maintenance operations without prolonged downtime. Plug-and-play, factory-tested before delivery, and operational upon connection, it installs without construction work and adapts to your evolving needs—add a second tank or an external storage reservoir at any time.

Scalability integrated by design

The Micro30 is available in two configurations: a standard version with one decontamination tank, or a dual-tank version to reach 3,000 L/day. An external storage tank can also be added to absorb production peaks. Upgrading the system requires no modifications to existing infrastructure.

Maintenance made easy by rail-mounted design

The decontamination tank, or both tanks in the dual configuration, is mounted on a sliding rail system. It can be extracted in moments for maintenance operations without complex disassembly or long shutdowns. A design focused on minimizing downtime.

Plug-and-play, operational upon connection

Like the entire Actini range, the Micro30 is factory-tested before shipping. It requires no complex commissioning or infrastructure changes. A standard three-phase electrical connection is all that is needed, no chilled water required thanks to the integrated energy recovery section

Full automation, reduced manual intervention

The Micro30 is fully automated. The onboard Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) monitors all cycles in real time. Risks associated with handling contaminated effluents are eliminated, and every cycle is traced to meet your biosafety level validation requirements.

Chemical-free thermal treatment

The 135°C cycle for 2 minutes guarantees the complete destruction of bacteria, viruses, spores, and heat-resistant pathogens. No biocides, no bleach, and no chemical management chain. The Micro30 reduces your regulatory footprint while simplifying consumable management.

Integrated energy recovery

The energy recovery section preheats incoming effluents and cools treated outgoing effluents without the need for a chilled water supply. An efficient design that significantly reduces overall system power consumption.
